1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing diag.md, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of this tool immediately.

These terms apply to all visitors and users of diag.md, regardless of how the tool is accessed — including via web browser, mobile device, or any other means.

2. Description of Service

diag.md is a free, browser-based network diagnostic tool that provides the following information about the current network connection:

• Public IP address detection (IPv4 and IPv6)
• Geographic location lookup based on IP (GeoIP)
• VPN, proxy, TOR, and hosting exit node detection
• Browser environment and bot/automation signal analysis
• Network speed test (download, upload, latency)
• DNS-based blacklist (DNSBL) reputation check
• Generation of a shareable diagnostic report with a unique ID

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.

3. Permitted Use

You may use diag.md for the following purposes:

• Diagnosing your own network connectivity or configuration issues
• Sharing diagnostic reports with iHost.md or another technical support team
• Verifying your IP address, location data, or VPN/proxy status
• General educational or informational purposes about network diagnostics

4. Prohibited Use

You may not use diag.md for any of the following:

• Automated, scripted, or programmatic access to generate reports at scale
• Attempting to circumvent rate limiting, fingerprint deduplication, or other security controls
• Using the tool to gather diagnostic information about third parties without their consent
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the server, reports directory, or admin interface
• Any activity that places excessive or unreasonable load on the service infrastructure
• Reverse engineering, scraping, or extracting data from the tool in an automated manner
• Any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to fraud, harassment, or privacy violations

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate suspension of access and may be reported to relevant authorities.

5. Accuracy of Information

The diagnostic data displayed by diag.md is provided for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all information is current, complete, or error-free.

• GeoIP data is sourced from third-party databases and may not reflect exact physical location
• VPN/proxy detection relies on proxycheck.io and may produce false positives or false negatives
• Speed test results are influenced by server load, browser limitations, and network conditions at the time of the test
• Blacklist check results reflect the state of third-party DNSBL databases at the time of the query

Do not rely solely on diag.md data for legal, security, or business-critical decisions.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, code, design, and functionality of diag.md is the property of iHost.md and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission from iHost.md.

The diag.md tool may use open-source components which are governed by their respective licenses. These components remain the property of their respective authors.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

diag.md is provided without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

iHost.md does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, iHost.md shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use diag.md, even if iHost.md has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Third-Party Services

diag.md integrates with the following third-party services to provide its functionality:

• proxycheck.io — VPN, proxy, and hosting detection. Your IP address is transmitted to proxycheck.io for lookup.
• ipapi.co / ipwho.is — GeoIP lookup. Your IP address is transmitted to these services from your browser.
• DNS blacklist providers — Your IP is queried against public DNSBL services from our server.
• Google Fonts — Font files are loaded from Google's CDN. This is subject to Google's privacy policy.

We are not responsible for the practices, availability, or accuracy of these third-party services.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Moldova. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of diag.md shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chisinau, Moldova.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of diag.md following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
